The aromatics of the Grosset Alea Riesling appear to be much more in the dried herb spectrum, reminiscent more of white flowers than the intense lemon, lime characters that we’ve come to expect of the youthful wine. On the palate, the concentration from the low yields is evident. There’s a wonderful purity and intensity of lemon, lime flavours which are washed along by marvellous natural acidity.
