A cup of sunshine. On the nose, it is all ripe apricot, fuzzy skin and sweet flesh. Behind that there is a lifted floral note that always speaks of chamomile, plus a familiar citrus note provided by the Gold. Apricots give such a breadth of flavour, not just sweet fruit but a spicy, musk character there as well. A clean line of acid through and you are left with a lingering expression of vanillin oak on the back palate.
