Collina is a single vineyard Chardonnay, only made in years when the conditions allow, and this incarnation is a belter. The complexity, weight and texture demonstrate why this particular parcel is so highly regarded, the nose is a little shy but some time in the glass gives a glimpse of the nuance to come. The palate is more immediately expressive with white stone fruit and ripe citrus flavours and a lick of smoky reduction on the finish that is extremely appealing. All in all, an utterly delicious glass of Tasmanian goodness grown by some of the most considered hands around. Get some.
