Mena Dhu stout is a luxurious and complex brew, bursting with rich, indulgent flavours, yet deceptively light and refreshing. A delicate oak-smoked aroma sets the stage for a velvety, full-bodied taste experience, where luscious notes of dark chocolate intertwine with a subtle, lingering touch of liquorice on the finish. Brewed with a blend of six malts, Mena Dhu combines traditional and pale malts for depth, chocolate and smoked malts for a distinctive character, and malted oats with roasted barley to enhance its smooth finish. Inspired by an original Cornish recipe, Mena Dhu—meaning “black hill” in Cornish—takes its name from the farm once owned by St Austell Brewery founder Walter Hicks.
