Like the other expressions in the series, 'Legend' carries the Red Dragon as a feature. It's the same symbol that appears on the national flag of Wales and the Royal Welsh badge bears the motto, ‘The red dragon inspires action.’ Matured in x Bourbon casks before receiving a further maturation in x Madeira wine casks, this is a whisky of restrained stye, both on the nose and palate. In moments akin to a light grain or Irish blend, there are mere suggestions of tropical fruit and citrus punctuating the soft barley and muesli, augmented by wisps of pepper, while frail notes of honey and melon surface in a clean, crisp finish. Non chill filtered.
