In 2022, we decided it was about time we brewed a La Sirène take on a lager. A Bohemian-style pilsner felt like the right choice for us -- rustic, expressive and old world. Natty Pils (formerly aka Natural Pilsner) gives a nod to the traditional Pilsners of Bohemia (western Czech Republic) from the mid-1800s when the style was created. In true La Sirène style, we've strayed from the rule books, opting for locally-grown organic malt and hops, giving us more expressive flavours that position this is a southern hemisphere, high quality and rustic pilsner. "Personally this was the first beer style I fell in love with and the first that I did a deep dive into during brewing school, those many moons ago, so it holds purpose for me as an Artisan Brewer and is the beer that most brewers reach for when needing to recalibrate their palates.
