Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with glimmering green tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pear and honeycomb have a toast overlay with hints of nougat and ginger also apparent. Rich fleshy ripe pear and honeycomb flavours cast a well rounded, viscous textural feel across the palate and provide a mouth filling effect. Traces of hazelnut, spicy nougat and delicate ginger linger underneath with balanced acidity counterpointing the wines volume and breadth. Excellent concentration finishing dry, supple and long. Drink over the next 4-5 years.
