Els Vignerons is a collaboration between two winemaker friends, Alex and Amós, who seized an opportunity they saw in the Spanish market to make natural wines that were both approachable and affordable.
Both men come from grape-growing families, with family plots in the north-east of the country.
In 2014, their partnership began. With the delicious range they now produce and the great value they offer, they have quickly built a loyal following.
Their Pregadéu (European mantis) is effectively a Pet Nat cava - a sulphur-free sparkling made from 100% Xarel-Lo. The finished wine is made, then a small amount of the unfermented juice is used to top the bottle sparking a second fermentation in bottle.
