Very deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. A little reticent the nose reveals aromas of red cherry and red plum which are overlaid by a combination of fresh herbs, graphite and white pepper. More expressive than the nose, the elegant mid weighted palate has juicy red cherry and red raspberry fruits which intermingle with red liquorice, dried herbs and spicy pepper nuances. Polished tannins. Finishes with good freshness and a long, refined aftertaste. Drink over the next 5-6 years.
