This year’s Gabs Hottest 100 was big news for Canberra breweries: Bentspoke & Capital Brewing.

Bentspoke’s Crankshaft IPA takes out the top spot and becomes Australia’s #1 beer of 2020, as voted by a record number of participants from just under 2000 beers available for voting.

Closely followed by power houses Stone & Wood and Balter, Bentspoke registered another 4 tinnies in the top 100!

Amazing results also from Capital Brewing Co, who landed the highest new entry in this year’s hottest 100, with Capital XPA landing on #13. Plus another 6 beers:

#72 – Evil Eye Red IPA

#73 – Hang Loose Juice NEIPA

#93 – Summit Session Ale
