We are delighted to support Barnardos Canberra by having a GIFTS FOR KIDS drop off point at each of our stores this year!

BARNARDOS “GIFTS FOR KIDS” DETAILS:
For many kids, the festive season is not a time of happiness or celebration and sadly many never get to experience this as a family gathering, let alone the joy of receiving and unwrapping a present. By supporting Barnardos Gifts for Kids, you will be sharing in the true spirit of the festive season, the joy of giving. By helping to make this time of year a special celebration for children and young people in our care, the simple act of giving makes a difference to those that are in disadvantaged communities. Children and teens facing homelessness, poverty, neglect and abuse need your help.
What can I donate?
We ask that any toys that are donated are new. This ensures safety and allows each child to feel truly special on Christmas Day. We also request that they are not wrapped as this allows our managers to select what is the best gift for each child in their care. Gifts are then wrapped and labelled. We also don’t accept any soft toys.
The most asked for gifts are vouchers! Movie vouchers, iTunes, department stores etc, they are a hit with our teenagers.
*DROP OFF UNTIL THU, 12th DEC 2019
Look out for the Christmas tree at each Plonk store and choose a tag from the tree and attached it to your present/s.
