Plonk opened it’s doors in 2006 and we are proudly independent & family owned.

We now have two locations, one inside the Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets and also one at the Belconnen Fresh Food Markets, Canberra ACT.

From humble beginnings, Plonk has grown to one of Canberra’s most recognised spots for Aussie craft beers, a huge international beer selection, as well as showcasing wines from all around Australia and major international wine regions and a great range of local and imported ciders.

All our products are hand-picked and reflect our passion for great quality beverages.  Our staff members are always at hand to guide you through this fun world of ours.

We have seen a great increase of local producers in the last few years and it is our pride & joy to support and offer one of the biggest Canberra Region wine, beer, cider & spirit selections in town.

Looking for something special. Check out our ‘Spirits of the World’ range including an amazing selection of whisky, botanical gins, Japanese sake, schnapps, Cognac, Armagnac, Calvados, Vermouth, Vodka, Rum ….  just to name a few.

In-store tastings.  On Saturday’s we always welcome representatives of our products to our stores between 1 – 4pm to offer customers first hand tastings and info sessions. We regularly host in-depth sampling sessions throughout the year on a vast array of products we stock.
