Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Heady black cherry, morello cherry, liquorice and black plum scents inundate the olfactory senses followed by some dried cherry, cinnamon and spice notes. Rich, thick and dense the palate is layered with a super concentrate of morello cherry, black plum and dried cherry flavours which are underscored by a counter balancing freshness and ripe chewy tannins. Some cinnamon, vanillin spice and earth characters are also evident. Exceptionally powerful and showing no signs of heat it concludes very long and decadent. Drink over the next 6-8 years.
