After purchasing Lot 3 Elliots Road in 1960, the Patritti family began planting their new Shiraz vineyard. By 1969 twnty five acres of Shiraz had been planted on the ancient 56 million year old soil known as North maslin Sand. Its elevation of 156 metres and natural balance give this site an identity of its own. This parcel of wine was chosen for our Lot 3 release because we bleiev it is a true expression of our terrior. Hand harvested on the 17th March, this wine was matured in new and seasoned French oak puncheons and demi muids prior to bottling in March 2022.
