Stockade Choc Cherry Porter

Do other countries care about cherry and chocolate? On the one hand, a black forest cake would suggest yes but on the other, the distinct lack of Cherry Ripes in other countries screams no. Stockade Brew Co certainly care, with the Goulburn brewery's Cherry Choc Porter an indulgent winter treat. The cherry hits straight up, with sweet lashings, sweet enough that you could imagine maraschino cherries could have been thrown into the beer. But far from a one trick pony, the underlying dark beer also brings caramel that's balanced by roasted qualities of coffee, chocolate, and toast.
