Seppeltsfield’s DP57 Grand Tokay is crafted from the Muscadelle varietal, sourced exclusively from the Rutherglen region in North-East Victoria. The Muscadelle that forms the DP57 Grand Tokay is left on the vine for an extended ripening period. The resultant fruit is high in natural sugar levels which is then briefly fermented and fortified, to produce an indulgent and seamless wine. Seppeltsfield’s DP57 Grand Tokay is a blend of vintage years, all of which have been matured in individual components.
With a palate of great intensity, this wine shows luscious sweet tea leaf, caramel and butterscotch characters. Quality fortification spirit is evident, complemented by fine natural acid balance.
