Five Barrel says...
Navigator is our much-loved Hoppy Amber, rebadged as a Red IPA. The decision has stemmed from the evolution of the local craft beer market, where IPAs are more widely consumed, and Ambers are less attractive to the wider craft beer audience. Our Hoppy Amber has always straddled the fine line between a hoppy American Amber Ale and a Red IPA, in fact, we’ve won plenty of medals over the years for this beer in the Red IPA category. This exercise in adapting our brand to the new craft market is an exciting and challenging project, but we love this beer and want as many Aussies to try it as possible.
