Bottled in 2018, this is another of Delord's vintage dated releases. As always, only a tiny volume makes it to Australia. Less than a handful on offer.Tasting note: Brilliant copper penny colour, shines from the glass. A soft, well-rounded bouquet, balancing fruit and wood: Figs, dried apricot, prunes, vanilla…a touch of shellac... more air contact accents pepper heat and increased oakiness, becoming mildly sappy, green-wood like. Medium bodied with dried fruit flavours and a spike of pepper. Muted clove, vanilla and cigar box through the finish. Robust.
