Formerly known as Tokay, this fortified is produced from Muscadelle grapes. Translucent deep onion brown amber colour. Toffee top notes are followed by some honey, raisin and molasses aromas. Concentrated and very luscious the palate delivers flavours of honey, toffee and raisins followed by a touch of spice. There’s a touch of heat from the spirit on the finish which is not quite as well integrated as the Muscat. Long aftertaste of honey, toffee and raisin.
